Like many potters around here, I'm firing today. I was hoping for two kiln loads this week, but ran outta time. I'll still have another kiln load between now and Christmas ... full of orders, Christmas presents to family and friends, and maybe a few pieces to use at home. I'm pretty excited about my new stuff, so much so that I'm having a hard time parting with much of it. With a couple of appointments this week, including a day at a Special Olympics event, some last minute errands to run, and set-up for the show on Thursday afternoon, if you're coming my way you better call or e-mail first. With just a quick lunch of hummus and pita chips yesterday, I was pretty hungry by the time I finished loading the kiln last night, and ate all of this pie a l l b y m y s e l f.
